Common Hawk-cuckoo (Brain fever bird)

The Common Hawk-cuckoo Cuculus varius also popularly called the Brainfever bird is a medium sized cuckoo resident in South Asia.

Last week on our trip to Nagarhole I spot this statued bird sitting on this beautiful perch and I shouted immediately to my friend Pramod to stop and drive the car backwards. The very next moment I was thinking he would curse me for identifying a most common bird and making all of us go back. But, there was this brainfever bird still on the perch standstill just posing for us.
